I didnt like mine at first as she was being very laid back, then I liked the fact that she was leaving me & my body in charge. I thought she was good stuff :)

Luckily. (Even if I did call her a cow in the first arrival :s!)

I got the same one both times, she was very nice. The hardest part was realising midwife time is different to real time

Oh yes. my mw kept saying only 103 pushes to go & I said what, i cant do that! and DD was out in 2pushes!

Lovely, all 3 of them. All different but lovely. As was the theatre MW.

In fact the only one I didn't like was the one who told me I'd 'never be the same down there again' Sad DH would beg to differ Wink

The midwife I had for DC2 was a right bitch! Kept telling me to not be a drama queen, to not be pathetic and to try to make an effort.
I thought "fuck you" and had a really short labour with DS out in 2 pushes and less than an hour.
The midwife apologised to me afterwards, saying that she knew if she pansied to me and took the 'softly softly' approach then I'd never of got the baby out and lead there feeling sorry for myself!
Turns out she knew me better than I realised!
