If you were induced with your first, is it likely you will be with your second?

Really Really want a waterbirth, but 3 years ago I was induced with my first DD and couldn't have anything as had to be monitored. Anyone been induced and then your bodys just known second time round?? Im only 13 weeks lol so have ages just curious

Yes, I went into spontaneous labour 2nd time around. DC3 is heading for induction though I think...!

My second birth was a complete doddle after a nightmare three days of induction with the first. I had her at home and didn't even go into hospital - result!

The third wasn't as easy though - I think every birth is different.

Thanks ladies thats made me feel better that there is infact a chance! Just would really like a nice waterbirth instead of being bedbound and strapped up :-( I recon Im going to eat hotter thn hot curry and go for real long walks etc.when the time comes lol!

I was induced after going overdue with dd but ds was 10 days early

My first two were induced and no 3 was natural and a week early.

very interested in this too. was induced over 2 days with DS and am now 26 weeks gone.

those that went naturally second time, at what stage were you induced first time and at what stage did baby 2 arrive?

i was induced at 10 days over with ds1 but ds2 came naturally 3 days early, much easier birth 2nd time round, my main concern was knowing when labour had started as with being induced it went from nothing to full on with no build up. However need not have worried as it was quite obvious in the end :-) also managed the birth with just gas and air when had epidural first time round
