due at the Whittington literally on the Queens jubilee, mildly nervous about short staffing! but mainly wanting to have as much care as possible before going in (first baby took 3 days, home birth, really don't want to spend any more time in hospital than is necessary, we live very near)
Any recommendations welcome!

Sorry no recommendation but try posting in your mumsnet local as well. I would have thought North London is stuffed with private midwives!

Viv Gray at Maya Midwives was my NCT teacher first time around. She was amazing and a friend had her as her independent midwife and had great care and a vbac at home. No direct experience of her as a midwife though, but she is lovely and very experienced.

Thanks Flip, quite amazingly when I look up Maya midwives it turns out the midwife who delivered our first child (almost) at home is on there! She literally knows me inside out (!) and so Ive gotten in touch.
Thanks x
