Homestretch - What did you do in last few weeks for YOU?

Hi - I am due third babe in 5 weeks + 4 days but am a little out of practice as my Youngest is almost six.

Does anyone have any tips/must-do's for the last few weeks that might make things easier?

I work FT and start mat leave at 39+2 so work, day to day life and my Sons are keeping me busy but also mean I am not doing all the things that maybe I should be at this stage?
Did you bother with Raspberry leaf tea/aromatherapy oils any other alternative therapies?

Did you do yoga/hypnobirthing techniques?
I know I need to sort all the practicalities out at home and work but I want some bits to concentrate on me, me, me lol!
I had a night out in London watching a gig this week as wont be able to get a babysitter for a long time me thinks but need to focus on impending events now.
Thanks ;-)

I did antenatal yoga DVDs.

As soon as I was on maternity leave I went to aqua natal classes and bumps and babies groups.

DH and I went out for dinner on my due date.

I spent about a month having raspberry leaf tea, and for the last week we were eating a lot of curries and going for evening walks and pineapples daily (DS was very overdue!)

I also booked in with my hairdresser and got a pedicure for a little luxury!

I did a few beauty bits with second baby - had my hair done, waxing, fake tan (vain, perhaps, but I made the fatal error of not doing a thing before first baby was born, then looked like shite in every photo).

I had a pregnancy massage and facial.

I did antenatal yoga.

I went to the cinema - you won't be doing that for a while!

I had afternoon tea with friends.

i went shopping for some things for me - boxset of DVDs, snacks for late night breastfeeding, nice bath oil etc.

I also went for a big curry on my due date and we had lots of sex Wink

I'm 39 weeks with number 3 and trying not to get lost in a wave of impatience. I know this si the relative cakm before the storm of a newborn baby but I'm still anxious to get the birth over with. Mostly it's the physical discomfort that I'm fed up with, I want to be able to just play with and carry my dc, walk down the road, sleep even(!), which is getting more difficult as the days go on. Dp has taken some flexi days off which has been nice, we've just had lazy days of watching box sets (we're ploughing through 24 atm, but I've been too tired to watch it at nighttime for a few weeks) and out for a couple of meals. I've been having some nice baths after the dc are in bed, then reading books in bed as I know that's a luxury that's soon to disappear for a while.
