anyone know if your dilated about 3-4cms are you near to giving birth i know you have to get to 10cm but once your at this stage is every labour different or do you think it will be pretty fast now....

It will certainly make it quicker ime. I was 3-4cms dilated for a few days before actually going into labour with my second, and when it did happen it was 3.5 hours all told.

The 'graph' will say about another 6/7 hours (1cm/ph) plus up to two hours pushing.

However, the problem with graphs is that bodies don't read them. Some women dilate more slowly, others dilate quickly.

It's pretty much how long is a piece of string (and that's twice the length from the middle to the end)
