Private Obs

Can anyone suggest a good private Obs. I live around the Pinner area and am a nervous first time mum ! Thanks.

Have a look at the Portland website - it has all the obs who have rooms there, so take your pick. I had Paul Armstrong for all three of my children. Nice, unflappable, not fluffy.

Vik Khullar. He's usually at the Lindo Wing, but I;m not sure where he is given that the Lindo Wing hasn't yet re-opened (I think..). I'm seeing him for urogynae stuff after a disastrous vaginal birth, but he is also an obstetrician. He is extremely kind and sympathetic, very diligent, takes what you say and how you feel seriously, and is generally an all round fab guy. If there is ever another baby, I will be going to him without a doubt. Good luck!

Lindo wing is still open in a fashion but is operating in another bit apparently.

Thank you for your suggestions. I am thinking the Lindo and Portland are a little far. Was thinking of Watford if possible as nearer to home but I will look into those too. Thanks

I looked at Watford too - the knutsford wing looks fantastic! We ended up at the Portland for various reasons including being closer to my husband's office and handy for the tube etc but have only heard good things about Watford. Good luck! X
