I have the option of either seeing Kevin Harrington at the Portland or guy Thorpe-beeston at the Kensington wing. Mr Harrington can see me for all my antenatal care and do all my scans with Mr Thorpe Beeston I will not see him every time due to his other commitments and someone else will do the scans however I would rather go to the Kensington wing in case of problems rather than the Portland. Has anybody experienced their care and any thoughts?

I'd want continuity of care at the same place I'm delivering. Not sure about why you'd choose Kemsington over Portland - their facilities are similar and if you have terrible complications they just transfer to UCH. Their NICU is level 4 now I think and they transfer VERY few maternity patients.

I had both my ELCS (one for grade 4 placenta praevia, one for huge back to back baby 16 months later, 90% chance of EMCS if I tried to deliver naturally) under GTB. He was fab both times. Very matter of fact. I only saw him for consultations but his whole team were great.

Thank you for both those messages
