Feels like round ligament pain 38wks

I have a stabbing pain where I would imagine my ovaries to be, or where a round ligament pain occurs earlier in pregnancy.

I am 38wks with DC2 - could really do with another two weeks to get everything ready

What is this pain, do I need to worry?

I had something really similar a few weeks before 38 weeks, it was agony I couldnt walk and changing sitting positions was painful. I was crying it hurt so much and went to the doctor who just said I had pulled a ligament. Try and rest and take it easy, mine went away after 2 days of resting (not easy with 2x DDs! but i got the troops in to help!).

You should always get any pain looked at or talk to your mw to make sure everything is OK.

Thanks - I think it may just have been the head engaging, it certainly improved with rest, having a lie-down and dont feel a thing today.
