not sure if this is in the right place but here goes..

i will be having a planned csection this time (2 x emcs previously)

I have had several people tell me that they 'know' of someone that had a tummy tuck at the same time on the NHS!

I dont know of anybody that has had this done, is this an urban myth? Im not sure if its something i agree with or not tbh, if its true i might request one myself!

has anybody else heard this, would you request one yourself if you had the choice?

thanks,

Tummy tucks on the NHS at the same time as CS is an urban myth.

Even if you do need a tummy tuck, it is hardly an ideal time to do one.

I suspect it couldn't be done even if you wanted it, think of the overhang you get post CS. I had a tiny bump, was pretty slim and was not contracting during surgery. I still have a bit of overhang. However, they do remove old CS scar tissue I think as it makes closing up and healing easier. So that might be the "tummy tuck" you have heard of.

thats what i thought . My sister was on about it to me and she said she'd have one if she could.
It just got me thinking whether it was true or not.

Thanks
