if you are an insulin dependent diabetic, is it possible to give birth without being on a drip? a friend of mine is convinced she would have one drip containing insulin and another containing saline aswell as continuous monitoring. im sure she might be ill informed so just wanted to find out for her.she seems to think a c-section would be easier all round, any thoughts anyone?
