Birth pools - to line or not to line?

I've decided which pool to buy so now need to decide whether or not to buy a liner for an extra £10...I'd like to use the pool again for a second child so wondered really is it very hard to clean/get very messy? Were you glad to have the liner or did you think it was a waste of money and plastic? Thanks!

If your planning on using it for another birth, I would suggest a liner.

They do wipe clean quite well depending on how soon after you empty it, mine had quite a lot of mess on the side as I was getting out my placenta plopped out! And that took a bit to get clean!

The liner I bought was too small and it was to late to replace when I realised, so I didn't use it but I wish I had!

Worth the extra £10 in my opinion, as you can never get into all the nooks and crannies, and mine was quite big so quite a bit of effort needed!

wow wish my liner was a tenner! I had to pay £25 for mine. I think worth getting, easier to clean as you can just bin it!

Just remember if you're getting an inflatable pool that you need to put the liner on before you inflate the pool! Otherwise you won't be able to stretch it over!
I used one because it was a 2nd hand pool, also it could just go in the bin and then the pool was ready to go back into storage straight away
