Hi All

I'm still a new to MN, just posted this in 'pregnancy', but its probably more at home here:

Any ideas/guidance welcomed!

It's about using your imagination to take you away from the pain or to accept the pain.

So you can visualise lying on the edge of the shore with each contraction being a gentle wave washing over you, or you can visualise your muscles pulling up to push the baby down, - whatever helps you to understand and accept what is happening and to keep relaxed enough to allow it without building up lactic acid or fighting against it.
