Signs labour is around the corner...?

I'm preggo with my third DC, and I can't for the life of me remember if I had any 'signs' the day(s) before going into labour. Both babies were late, my first 6 days and my second 12 (!).
Ive already been booked for an induction 12 days after my EDD (so in 10 days time) but I am dead set against it as I want a water birth at home. The other night I had majorly intense BH for about an hour and got quite excited, and needed the loo, but nothing. Yesterday I felt full of energy. Today I feel so so tired even after a (rare) good nights sleep, and have had two bouts of the runs! (sorry tmi!). So part of me is trying to analyse this and another part is just saying maybe I have a bug or something and I will just spontaneously go into labour.

SO if you can remember anything leading up to the more obvious signs of labour like a show, waters breaking etc, then let me know!

I had what I now realise was a couple of really fierce contractions two days before the big event. Was in the car with my mum and asked to be taken home. They really hurt but I didn't realise what they were (I've only done it the once).

I've heard the runs can be a sign it's imminent...but really just jumping on thread as I want to keep an eye on responses myself!

Having a good clear out is definatley a sign, sounds to me like your gearing up!!!

Restlessness, and feeling irritable is always another for me (exp DC4)

Good luck x
