Pgp/spd - recovery post c section

I have really bad pgp (only on one side but basically my whole hip/bum/thigh locked up and swollen). I am in a lot of pain and can't sit/walk far so am basically housebound . C section due next week (baby is breech).
I am doubly worried about 1. Coping with c section when already in pain/limited mobility 2. How long/ what to do to recover post birth.

The hospital will have a physio see me and i have plans to see one after . But tips/experience welcome.

I had my twins by elcs 3 weeks ago.

I had terrible terrible spd, I couldn't walk, roll or sit properly!!! Sleep was impossible!!

Anyway after I had babies I felt achey still in hips, and now still very slight ache but I can run upstairs roll in bed etc. Basically it's gone. I think the slight ache is body recovering from the csection.

I also had it in my last pregnancy and it went about near enough straight away.

Also you will have strong pain killers u can take etc

Thank you Katy- I don't expect miracle cure . Just worried as can't really move and pain so bad (paracetamol doesn't do much).

No I don't Blame you for wanting reassurance it's horrendous!!! Paracetamal did nothing for me either.

It will go .. It's all the hormones loosening everything, so once the baby is out all will settle down :)
