Hi

i am currently 27 weeks and 3 days. My DD was born at 34 weeks by EMCS 8 months ago. I know theres not a lotof time between the pregnancies but i'm over that now. Today i went for a growth scan as they are keeping an eye on me and have told me to be prepared from 32 weeks. My scan measurements hve come back way above average and baby is measuring on the 97th centile and the AC is off the scale!!!. I am going for a natural birth this time but am starting to panic about my scar and the bay being too big and putting pressure on my tummy now we know its big. i do feel massive and i am bigger now than when i was at 34 weeks with my DD.
Has anyone been in a simular situation to me? I am starting to get really worried :(

Thanks

I am sure they would have said if there was anything to be worried about. Its good that you have ahealthy baby, and yes i suppose if the baby gets too big you may need a caeserian, but thats not the end of the world as at least it should be born healthy. I cant really help though, my little boy was born 6 days early and weighed 6 pound 9 ounces. He was actually the "smallest" baby on the ward! He was perfect though and all i wanted was a healthy baby and an easy labout of which i got both :) x

My friend gave birth to a 10pm baby naturally after having a CS first time and is absolutely fine so don't worry about the size of the baby Smile
