OK, indulge me, please. Blush

I am 35 weeks and have had a meltdown about nothing being ready, at all. DH thinks that I have ages as my offical due date is 40+10 (this being France).

Is there any way to predict, roughly, when the baby might come out, given the following:
DD born at 40+5 (with no prior warning at all, 12 hours from first contraction to birth)

This pregnancy I:
Have been having BH since quite early with severe cramping from 33 wks (calmed down a lot now, mw said I did too much over Christmas and NY and these were contractions)
Have been noticing small amounts of mucous since about 30 wks
Have started to leak a little bit from my boobs
Nesting has kicked in big time
Feel like I've been kicked in the fanjo, but I suspect this may be first niggles of SPD (not sure, didn't get this in first pregnancy)
I feel as pregnant now as I did at about 37/38 wks pregnant first time (the heaviness, pressing down, etc)

Any chance this baby might arrive earlier than DD or is it just too impossible to predict?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I feel your pain as also waiting for dd2. I questioned my consultant on this and he says that there is no real pattern (Assuming you are healthy as you have ) as baby can be early or late. That said some
Of those signs do sound like you are nearing the end so here is hoping.

Thanks Gigondas.

I haven't reached the 'get this thing out of me NOW' stage yet, although I think when I hit the 37wk cut off I will.

I am only waking up four times a night and sleeping relatively well in between, so I think it's not that imminent. The only thing that worries me is that DD was relatively quick (from nothing to hard and fast contractions straight away) and I HAVE NOTHING READY!!

How far along are you?
