bleeding started again?

DD is 6weeks. Stopped bleeding 2weeks ago but just wiped after seeing and looks like its started again - very light and not bright red. What's going on? Please don't be my period starting again already - I'm breastfeeding all the frigging time!

Sounds pretty normal timing. Maybe you've been over-doing it? Probably best to check with your GP - is your check up soon?

It's supposed to be at 8weeks but useless receptionist has said it won't be til 16th Feb. Might call them in the morning anyway.

Looked online and apparently there's such a thing as a 6week bleed?

I'm having the same thing. DD is 7 weeks. I'm sorry to say it has got heavier and I think it is my period. Totally gutted as I'm exclusively breastfeeding too - feel I'm being cheated out of a benefit of breastfeeding! You've given me some vain hope with info on a 6 week bleed!

girlwith I totally agree. It's so not fair. My sister didn't get hers for 8 weeks and FF!

I'm keeping everything crossed it's lochia related but I'm in a mood, have a spot and crap hair so what are the chances?!

I don't have any other usual symptoms, no cramps or anything. Nowt to do but wait and hope I suppose!
