I want to start collecting a birthing music playlist. Any suggestions?

I just had the radio on but between contractions distinctly remember dancing whilst still high on the gas and air!! I liked the dance/pop music whilst labouring and the slower songs during the pushing stage Smile

I had my mumford and sons album on. I loved it at the time and now everytime I hear one of their songs it takes me right back.

I had Enya towards the end, most of the way through I left DP in charge of the ipod so he had something useful to do. The main thing I remember about the music is finding all of it really annoying so it kept him busy.Grin

I'd go with the attitude of..after having 5 children...birthing music will not matter..all you will care about is getting that baby out of you !

I wouldn't bother - I had a mp3 player full of music and really did'nt listen to any of it.
Mind you was 9cm by the time we got to the hospital - did try to watch TV at home but really couldn't concentrate on it.
