I had a sweep on Wed, 3 days ago, and my waters brokes yesterday morning... LOTS! :) Now waiting at home for labour to start naturally as the thought of an induction drip and being monitored/stuck in bed makes me anxious. Especially as baby might be lying back to back so pain and more intervention entirety possible.

Its been about 36 hours since waters first went and Ill get admitted for induction after 48 if not in labour naturally. Thing is Im having all sorts of tightenings and back/pelvis muscle pains, but they dont seem to be doing anything to dilate me and get things moving (was examined at midnight and only 1cm after a whole day of tightenings).

Anyone have similar experience? How did it turn out?

ooh how exciting.

slightly different but with dd1 my waters went and I didn't have any pains. had to go to hospital as the was meconium in my waters. I was due to be induced the next morning but labour kicked off about 7-8hours later with no warning whatsoever.

good luck nervous and hopefully it will go quick once it all starts.
