Anyone's labour started with stomach bug-like symptoms?

35 + 5 today. Have what feels like a weight in my stomach and I feel quote sick. I'm also quite rigid with BHs and have mild to moderate back pain. Does this sound like the star of labour to anyone? Im reluctant to phone the delivery unit until I'm pretty certain that this it. Thank you for any help!

I felt very queasy and was actually sick just before I went into labour with DD1, so it could well be. Or it could, of course, be a stomach bug! I'd give the unit a call just to set your mind at rest - but it did take a good 7 hours to get from that point to regular contractions when I needed to go into hospital - by which time I was in no doubt what it was!

Best of luck to you!

Yes - same sort of poo issues as tsc then a crampy/indigestion type feeling for about 12 hours before labour started
