Previous stitches, feel like I'm going to split in half.

Have had this for a while but it's definitely worse now. Am 40 weeks and had previous 2nd degree tear and stitches. Any time I move my legs in such a way as to change sitting position or get up from the sofa or even walk, it feels like I'm being ripped along where I'd imagine the stitches were (4 years ago). There's a lot of pressure down there at the moment, naturally but this is definitely making it worse.

Apart from it being bloody painful now, I'm getting a bit worried that it's going to really bloody hurt on top of all the other bloody hurty things that are about to happen. Has anyone else had this?

I was really sore along my previous episiotomy scar during the last couple of weeks of my second pregnancy, mostly when getting out of bed, out of the car or bolting after DD. I tore along the same line during birth but it actually feels much better post birth (after a couple of weeks) than it has since I had DC1.

Sorry I can't help but I'm keen to hear what others have to say as I have the same fears myself!
