hello everyone,

I had my twin girls via elcs 12 days ago.

This was my fourth pregnancy.

Sure I remember this being normal for me .. But my bleeding is stop start, it near enough stopped then started off again.

This is ok isn't it??

Big worrier

Utterly normal. In fact they tell you to expect it to stop start a bit. I had a baby 4 months ago and barely bled in hospital (emcs) and then bled a bit more, then stopped for a day, then bright red again etc. It depends on a lot of factors. I especially bled more if I'd fed a lot in one stint (uterus contracting during bfing).

Sometimes it being bright red again can be a sign that you're doing too much and obviously if it hurts or smells or is v bad or clotty etc, then ask your midwife but yes stop/start bleeding is to be expected.

(tmi) I did have a clot today, but again so normal for me. Intact yesterday I said I'm supprised I hadn't passed any yet, as with all others I passed a few golf balls.

It's not gushing, not Snelling bad and other than general aches down there I'm not in pain just still achey and sore.

Some clots are normal as you know. Big and multiple clots might indicate infection or retained products but sounds like you know what's normal for you.
