Am new to mumsnet but have been a frequent lurker for quite some time (sounds sinister!). I have 2 beautiful children and have been feeling broody for a while...however, I had 2 quite traumatic births first including episiotomy (sp?) and ventouse delivery and the second v quick and including 2nd degree tear (ouch). I guess what I am asking is how did you find your third birth? and if like me you had previously traumatic deliveries how did you prepare yourself for a possible third?
TIA

Welcome to Mumsnet.

I haven't had a traumatic birth, but I do know that no birth is totally predictable. A lot has to do with why your first and second births were traumatic. We're they super fast? Was there a bad presentation? Do you have a teeny pelvis?

Recent news reports suggest that people like you can request a c-section without having to overly justify yourself.

If your hospital offers a birth reflections service, where you can go over your notes with a midwife, it would be good to do this. I know some women who have been helped and empowered by this.
