Help needed with nasal congestion!!

Am 38+3 and as I was early with DS (37+2) have been expecting to go in to labour any day.

Unfortunately I have come down with a bad cold the last couple of days so I'm finding it really difficult to breathe at night which is a pain in the arse as I need all the sleep I can get at the moment. Last night I kept waking myself up with my own snoring and then had a near panic attack about going in to labour and not being able to breathe.

I got through my first labour through yoga breathing which is mainly through the nose but with not being able to now breathe through my nostrils I am beginning to worry I can't get through this next labour.

Apart from paracetamol, lemsip, vicks vapour rub and a jam jar steaming next to my bed full of olbas oil (all of which appear to have no effect at all) can anyone else suggest anything I can try to clear my nose and help me sleep??

A hot shower before bed with some olbas oil in the shower tray???

Saline nasal spray that you can use for babies to clear their noses. Nasal aspirator to suck out all the goo....

Happy breathing x
