Plug come away- what happened with you?

Hello,

I'm 36 weeks and lost some of my plug yesterday. No blood so I don't think it is all of it. I've spoken to MW who isn't concerned. I just wondered how long you had between the plug going and labour starting? I know this will be different for everyone.

Thanks.

You can lose bits of it for quite a few weeks I think. I know with ds I didn't really notice any. But with dd I was in the hospital being induced and saw the giant, bloody glob of yuck when I went to the loo, waters broke about an hour later, and she was born about 13 hours after that.

Only noticed it after a sweep at 40 weeks with DS2, came away gradually and finally gave birth 10 days later!

Went into labour within 24 hrs, both times.

Thank you all for your responses. I'll put my feet up and wait.
