Loss post childbirth

My loss pretty much stopped 2 days after birth (my ds is 6 days old). However he has been feeding around the clock and while the after pains have gone I have pass a few clots, maybe the largest being around the size of a two pound coin. Think I've passed three in the past 48 hours... I'm at the tail end of a Chesty cough so that's moving things internally I imagine. I had no tears or stitches so it can't be a result of that. Am I normal?!

Was it a natural birth or c section?

Tbh I would talk to your Mw'W. It's possible but it may be a sign of something more sinister.

Personally, I have has 3 babies and always had clots!!! First time I freaked but with other babies I didn't I had big one sorry tmi that I felt fall out!
But of your worried ask midwife just to check your tummy, I'm sure if anything was wrong u would be bleeding heavily.
