Bishop's score Sweepy question!

(I know done before)

Had an attempted sweep (but due to posterior cervix MW gave cervix a poke rather than actually getting finger in and seperating membrane from cervix TMI)

Anyhow my bishop score is 6 (which I understand is an indicator for how successful an induction would be rather than how close to labour I am)

However does anyone have any success (or otherwise!) stories of score of six and magically going into labour within hours... please!

Cervix is soft. I had a series of shows (last one over ten days ago). Third baby. lots of crampy pains over the last few weeks. Feeling more achey than usual tonight.

I guess my question is really how quickly can a Bishop score change?

Ta!!

Don't get caught up in the technical stuff. It sounds like things are changing and that you baby will come soon.

Sweeps will irritate your cervix. This may lead to full on contractions, but it probably wont.

The baby will come when it is ready and not before. This is not necessarily when you are ready. Rest whilst you can. :)
