Hi, for those of you who had long labours the first time, did you have a quicker labour the second time or does it tend to follow suite?

yes, induced the first time in active full on labour for about 14 hours first time and 5 the second time, hoping for 3 this time Hmm

should add that 2nd baby was op but turned during labour hence still quite long for 2nd baby but once he turned it was about an hour.

Very long labour - latent stage lasted days

Active labour was 10 hours

DD my second was 7 hours from first cX to holding her - much quicker!

Thank you lady's! I was in proper labour for 36 hours with my first with 3 hours pushing ending in an episiotomy which took a long time to heal. I'm now 26 weeks with my 2nd and starting to get a bit panicky :/ not that panicking is going to help, it's gotta come out somehow! :)
