Sorry TMI alert...,So I've had pinky mucus when I've been to t bathroom - thinking it must be show...no contractions to go with it, had a (unsuccessful) sweep yesterday...i was kinda expecting a plug to come out, like a blob...but this was just pinky blood when I wiped, quite shiny and mucusy...

Im due to see t mw tmrw morning anyway, for second sweep...so hoping this is t start of something. I'm 40+3...

Does this sound like t start of a show and is thee anything I can do now to make sure things carry on in t right direction??

Thanks in advance ladies x

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I had that both times for a few days but the really big blobs didn't appear until labour started! I suggest lots of walking, bouncing on birthing balls, hanging around on hands and knees to get/keep baby in good position. Good luck!

And sex helps, if you can face it!

MummySSB · 11/11/2011 23:37

Thanks lemniscate - I've started getting some tightening crampy sensations and a bit nauseous too. Fingers crossed it progresses!
Don't think I can face sex - and my DH has just flat out refused to participate in that even if I wanted to!
Have bounced in my birth ball for best part of t evening and had a spicy pizza though!

Thanks again for your reply x

oooh just seen this - any news? :)

MummySSB · 16/11/2011 18:47

Hello!!! Yes!! I had my baby boy on 13/11 at 4.15am! Delivered by emcs as his heart rate was fluctuating quite a bit thru a 12hr stint with contractions and only being 3cm dilated by t end of it - wasn't worth taking any chances considering how slowly I was dilating...

Back home now and he's t best thing ever!!! GrinGrinGrin
