Hello, im getting really wound up about this! Every night i seem to be getting pretty terrible bh and stabbing/squeezeing pains "down there" im 41+2 now. Im starting to get period like type pains low down and in my lower back also, is it a sign that labour is at least coming?! Every night i get my self in the zone for labour, have a few hours of fake contractions and end up dissapointed! i really want labour to come on naturally if poss but time is getting on! why isnt she here yet?????!!!!
I cant even get an appointment with my mw at docs so will have to go the drop in sure start tomorrow instead so see whats the plan?! Frustrated isnt even the word! How did your labours start? Thanks for letting me rant! xx

mine started with back ache and period type pains, and then a dragging sensation in the tops of my thighs

and I just knew

was overdue with DD2 but I knew in the morning that that was the day and didn't go into labour till teatime but I just knew!

was induced with DD1 at 40+13 so that just felt like I had been squeezed

lol -as soon as you get to +1 you are entitled to be grumpy and impatient

I had given up thinking about it -was convinced I was going to be induced, made peace with the idea and relaxed -and hey presto, she made an appearance

good job she was late really cause I moved house 3 days earlier with a 2 yo!!!

I must be totally mental

married I hear you! 41+1 here, had a sweep, another booked in tomorrow but no baby as yet despite the nightly "ooh, ooh, is this it?" answer every time? Effing no.
Good luck!
