Hi.

This is pg 3. I def had a "proper" show the day before ds1 was born. ds2 was induced so had my show at some point in the experience!!

My question is that I had a bit of a show on Thurs. Tiny ammount of correct texture. No bloody streaks. (Sorry TMI) I'd walked into my local town and I'm still quite energetic so might have "knocked" a bit out Grin

Can that happen? To lose your show in bits? There has been nothing since. I've been at risk of prem labour due to a prev cervical procedure so not surprised that my cervix is the first to show signs of latent labour. I'm 38 weeks so past the prem stage now.

Yes it can come away in bits. With ds was losing mucous plug type stuff( sorry tmi Blush ) for 7 days before my waters broke. It started after a sweep.

Ta! I had such a dramatic show first time I was wondering if maybe it wasn't REALLY a bit of show.(Even though I knew it was) Guess technically no sex for me then.(Or so Miriam Stoppard suggests. Dammit. ) Although I did have a bubble bath today (In the MIDDLE of the day HoHo) Prob shouldn't have done that either!!!

Not sure about no sex or no baths I did bothGrin I think it's ok as long as your waters are still intact as the baby is still protected iyswim. Good luck I hope it means things are starting to happen for you.Smile

Yep. That makes sense doesn't it. Baby is still protected! The book I have (without wanting to diss it) a bit "wet" and I've not being doing the other "special pregnant woman" stuff it implies. With an 8 and 5 yr old, I've just being a slightly bumpier version of myself. Yah! Maybe I'll jump my DH Wink tonight and get this baby moving!!
