anyone else have/had this? Saw dr this morn & his diagnosis based on lower back ache & period type cramps and the fact that my tummy is more tender than it should be at this stage, almost 3wks post partum. Was already on co amoxiclav& now on flagyl too. Just worried this doesn't knock it as it makes scary googling (I know I shouldn't have). I had elcs, btw. Anyone got any experience of this? I'm feeling very down about it... Had horrendous time after previous dc was born, hospitalised & VERY long recovery period, to cut a long story short. Was hoping for an enjoyable post natal period this time but looks like that's not happening :( Anyone got any words of wisdom /advice please?

I have severe endometriosis but this is my first pregnancy so I have no idea what it'll be like after (I have LOVED having no periods) but you have my sympathy and if there is anything you want to know simply from the endometriosis point of view just ask.

If you are in London, try to get a referral to Mr Richardson at C&W. He is superb and a whizz with a laser.

Thanks for replying, haddock. Thing is, it's not endometriosis I have, but endometritis, inflammation& infection of the lining of the womb after pregnancy. Easy to confuse the two, at first I also thought dr was telling me I have endometriosis. So do u happen to know anything about endometritis by any chance??
