Hello, suppose this is a bit of therapy for me. I'm trying to feel justified with the way my birth went by maybe thinking DS head was big (clutching at straws but I really wanted him to just slide out!!!). His head circ was 37.2 (.2, see what I mean about clutching!!) which I think was 91st centile.
Come on, that's fairly big right???

i did the perinium stretch and massage thing with ds2, i still tore with him tho, interestingly i tore FORWARDS and required specialist stitching as it was in a rather delicate place ie near clitoris Blush hurt like fuck, the stitching was worse than the birth! i didnt bother with the next three and was fine, tho perhaps that was just mega saggy/stretchedness due to already having had two? has horrid images of a bucket fanny but actually its all fine, lots of pelvic floor exercises and dp seems to think it feels just the same as ever!

ha DH would jump at the chance, it'd be massaged within an inch of its life.

Rubbing nipples with a rough towel, how do these things come about???

Tore forwards and you went back for more??!!! :)

i know! i always wanted four tho and funnily enough after having ds4 i have VIDEO evidence of me saying NO MORE, that is is i am NEVER doing that again....i still had no 5 Blush but now i am really done :( getting rid of baby stuff etc, i do feel my family is complete and i dont have the energy or patience to do it again i dont think, plus we would need a new car, a bigger house etc, its not happening.

tbh i actually dont mind giving birth Shock yes its painful but its such an amazing thing, ihave been lucky to have straighforward preg and labours and i just love that feeling of elation after you give birht and holding your newborn etc, its a very special experience. just a shame about the whole sleepless nights and endless nappy changes and feeding that comes afterwards Grin

lynettescavo did you do a thread a while ago, to do with larger families, it was called something like 'you know you have too many kids when' and then in your op you said somehting about school uniform shopping and carrying bags?!!

only if it was you i cant find it and i liked it! and wanted to link it on another thread and then couldnt find it :(

if it wasnt you just ignore me and my sleep deprived ramblings Blush

You have to have arms like Mr Tickle to do those stretchy fanjo massages!

Another 37cm-er here (37.4cm I think) - but not just the size but the shape of his head which is sort of triangular-ish with the biggest bit at the top (if you see what I mean). Lovely sonographers who were amazed at some of the head measurements at the 20w scan, eyed up DH and laughed about how we should check potential husband's head circumferences and shapes before getting married Angry.

And yes it was tough getting it out (wrong angle too I think), I suffered for that.

My next was a dinky 34cm-er, and he really did just slide out, completely different birth.
