Induced 2nd time ?

Hi i am 41+4 and no signs of baby so looking like i will be induced Thursday just wondering if anyone has any experience of being induced with 2nd dc ?. Was induced with ds and it didnt kick in for 24 hours just had random contractions throughout and then very unstable contractions for 11 hours.

I was, but fortunately after pessary contractions started, 6 hrs later ARM and 2hrs after that it was all over. DC1 was natural though and fast so I was expecting DC2 to be quick!

I was induced with ds after waters broke and very little progress after 2 days. Was out on the drip and mobile epi and was approximately 8 hours to baby out.

With second baby, I was 40+9 and got a pessary early evening, waters broke at midnight and baby was born early morning.

The only "help" I got was the pessary, which allowed me to walk around (that probably speeded things too) and not be stuck on the bed (lying down during contractions was very painful for me), and having a shower was brilliant...
