Do try and rest if you can. It is difficult though I know. Have you woken your dh?

TheCatInTheHairnet · 22/10/2011 02:54

Then take a paracetamol and go to bed! With DC4, I was convinced I would give birth that night. Went to bed, fell asleep and the next thing I knew it was the next morning! Then, BOOM!! He arrived a couple of hours later. Go get some sleep x

mumatron · 22/10/2011 02:56

How far are you from the hospital? And what type of pain relief are you planning?

banana87 · 22/10/2011 02:57

5 minutes apart? Go in. IME painful has nothing to do with how close you are!

mumatron · 22/10/2011 03:02

I'm off to sleep now, all the best op.

Hope it's all over quickly.

Napdamnyou · 22/10/2011 03:04

Hey you ok?
I'm up...sending you best wishes

Jenski · 22/10/2011 03:05

Lots of luck to you. Must go now as battery about to go and need my sleep (poorly dd). Looking forward to reading about your new baby x

Napdamnyou · 22/10/2011 03:06

Then again, would rather you were having a little nap than porting as labour when you are knackered to start with is hard work

Napdamnyou · 22/10/2011 03:06

Porting? Posting, sheesh ipd

Allboxedin · 23/10/2011 13:59

Hi all, Just wanted to let you know that I had a baby girl born at 5.30 am yesterday morning!!!
We arrived at past 4am in the morning at hospital and so it was very quick!
I felt so much better after this delivery than I did with dd1 and got through on gas and air somehow!

Thanks to all of you who asked after me and kept me company the night before last!

:)

I think it was as good as they get mumble!! Very different to last time in that last time I had an epidural and it was 3x as long as this one but pretty amazing anyway!!
Good job you lot encouraged me to go in when I did! Grin
