i am due today with my second baby with dd i had to be induced 14 days late just wondered if any one was late with first baby and had second on time

Hi Softmusk, what an exciting time for you!

To answer your question: DS1 arrived n his exact due date, and DS2 was 2 days late.

ds1 14 days overdue, but came naturally.

dd 7 days overdue and came naturally.

ds2 39 wks and still waiting.....

dd was 14 days late - induced

ds only 12 days late and came on naturally after eating a whole pineapple.

some lo just take a bit more cooking

I hope by the time you've read this you have had your second baby.

I was due on Christmas Eve, and no signs of an imminent arrival yet. I had to be induced 10 days late with DD, and am praying I don't have to go through that again - the midwife is coming round to deliver a sweep on 31st Dec, so I hope that kicks it off!

I'm nervous that it's too big / in wrong position etc so I won't go into labour naturally and will have to be induced again. Come on baby, enough is enough, come out!

Hi, I've had three inductions for being overdue, but my last ds was 10 days late and labour started naturally - AT LAST!! I put it down to sitting/bouncing on an exercise ball - GOOD LUCK, hope baby comes soon for you!

Have you delivered y;et softmusk?

Ds1 - waters broke 10 days over, had a sweep and delivered about 13 days over

Ds2 - induced 11-12 days over, took two days to kick in, delivered about 14 over

DD - finally had show on morning of induction (11 days over), went into labour naturally but speeded up with induction and delivered hours later.

Ds3 - 39 weeks today and no signs!

hi i went in at 6am on xmas morning had her a 9am called her isabel really enjoyed the birth this time as didnt have all the drugs

Softmusk - my brother (first born) was 11 days late - I (2nd and last born) was 11 days early!
