Has anyone had a good home birth in edinburgh?

I'm expecting my second, am attracted to homebirth but put off by the experiences of friends who have tried for a homebirth and ended up transferring into hospital. Particularlyone experience where I was birth partner and the homebirth midwife was just awful. Seems that the MW's assume that the woman will transfer in at some stage, and are just clock watching. Unsupportive and unhelpful.

Has anyone had a goodexperience?

Two of my friends have had really good homebirths in Edinburgh recently. I was hoping for one but ended up having to be induced at 42 weeks as baby was in distress. MWs very supportive though - I was really impressed with the care I had in planning for a home birth and in hospital when that didn't work out. Maybe for the next one...
