Cancelled induction

So i have an induction booked for thurs at 40+9 - they said to call up at 7am in morning to make sure there is a bed. I am pinning all hopes of having baby by weekend. Has anyone been cancelled and what happened! Not got any other appointments.

Not me personally but my friend has this happen to her. She was told to phone at 6pm on the day (she was 40+12) to check there was a bed and when she called she was told they were full and that she would have to wait until same time the next day. She instantly burst into tears and got rather stressed out as she was so fed up and not feeling great, so they agreed that she should go in just to be checked over and to reassure her that all is fine. Thankfully she did go in as she had severe pre-eclampsia. They then found a bed and started the induction that evening.

Thanks - well it seems no one else has so fingers crossed for me.
