I'm currently 40 + 4 and last saw a midwife on Thursday (due date) where I was given a sweep and booked in for my induction (3rd oct)
Now the thing I'm confused with is that I'm booked in to a hospital which is out of borough (my choice) I last saw my community midwife two weeks ago and she said that she wont be seeing me again until the baby arrives, and when I saw the midwife at the hospital she said they wont see me again until the baby is coming.
Now does this sound right as it can be 10 days until I see a midwife again?

Sorry if this post dont make alot of sense been up half the night

Yes, is normal. Do give them a ring if you have any concerns or symptoms though, they will still see you if you want/need them to. Not long now Smile
