Hi my dd2 is 6 wks and I was in labour 90 mins - I was 6 hours with dd1. The thing is we def want number 3 and live 40 mins away from hospital. Home birth is out of the question so will they induce me? I am petrified of giving birth alone/ in the car. Thought I'd find out before trying for another

they would probably send an ambulance the minute something happens labout wise, they did with me DS1 5 weeks early in 3 hours and DS2 3 weeks early, breach (he turned before birth) and born in 4 hours - so not as fast as yours, but I was glad to see the flashing blue lights outside my door at 1am after my waters had popped!

i would think that they would offer induction yes.
can i ask (i am just nosy) why homebirth is out of the question? in the event that they refused induction it would be preferable to giving birth in the car??

is the hospital your nearest?

Hospital is nearest, homebirth out of question as was gbs positive this time + Dp has OCD about cleanliness and yes it's my closest hospital. I also wouldn't want to be so far away if there's an emergency from the hospital

each hospital has their own policies on different things, but mine induced me with my 3rd baby at 38wks due to having previously quick labours, so just ask.

Good luck and congratulations.x
