For the pain? Not unless you fill it with gin. For warmth? Those places are like saunas! But don't forget your bag of change for the TV/internet.

lol! Gin or a bottle of red is my preferred method of pain relief!!

Couldn't have done without mine, particularly with first DC - had dreadful back ache and it really helped ease it. Also converts to handy "waterpillow" for sitting on afterwards!!!
