I had a difficult birth, episiotmy (sp?), forceps + internal tear, do I have to wait until my 6 week check up before we try having sex again? It's been 4 weeks, I feel ok but am a bit worried incase it causes damage or something?

probably be ok if you feel ok, is up to me, I had the same as you and wasn't told when to start again.:)

If you feel ready then go for it. You may be pleasantly suprised. Shouldn't cause any damage. A glass of wine and a tube of KY was good for me(!)
I think it's a good idea to try before your PN check so if you do have any problems you can get them to have a look.
Good luck. :)
