did any one feel like this

baby due in 3 weeks been having belly ache for couple of days on and off but today i feel really on edge can sit still am really Fidgety just wondering if this could be the start of things. did any one else feel like this before they went in to labour

Hi Softmusk, just wanted to say that I was very fidgety with my fourth baby, - I just couldn't relax and was frantically tidying up! You might just have the nesting thing a lot more though - good luck for the birth - he/she might arrive sooner than you think!

with my first baby, i wasnt due for two weeks but i remember feeling strange, i couldnt put my finger on what i felt but knew i was feeling a bit weird, i went into labour the next day. was two weeks before my second, and i felt i was going to have the baby soon, was already 3cms! maybe not long to wait now!!!

I didn't get any nesting instinct, but did get the fidgets for a day or two before going into labour with ds (about 1w before due date). I went out for some retail therapy for my mum, she says that when she asked me how I felt I told her that I felt 'imminent' and was sure something was about to happen. I certainly didn't feel like that at any other point in the pg, but put the fidgets down to being on maternity leave, having got everything done that had been waiting on me, and having free time (for the last time ever! ).

O GOD YES! couldn't sit still and had on and off mild cramps the whole weekend before i had my daughter. told my partner i knew she was coming on saturday and had her on monday after being in proper labour since the night before. trust your instincts, they're usually right
