Just wondering, I had lochia until 5 weeks, had one week of light bleeding at 7 weeks and am now bleeding lightly at 9 weeks. I had assumed that it was my period at 7 weeks, but now not so sure. Anyone else had such irregular bleeding after birth - fwiw it didnt happend after DC1

Thanks in advance :)

I have no idea, but suggest that you get yourself checked out. I guess there is still the possibility of some retained placenta or something.

interested to read your post as I am wondering the same thing. DD is 6 weeks. I bled for about 4 then stopped but have started again, very bright red, not smelly or icky so assumed it was period (though they didn't return for months after DS). Am seeing Dr for 6 wk check on mon so will ask and check back in here!

Thanks both, it is odourless, painless and light. Tbh nothing like a period but then its a long time since I have had one :)

I would feel like a prat going to the GP about it tho......
