Cs recovery - is this normal?

I had a repeat cs just over 3 weeks ago. Recovery has been great and I'm back on my feet and reasonably active. The wound seems to be healing well, however about an inch above it and the area over my pubic bone is tender and rather puffy. It's been like this for nearly 2 weeks with no improvement. Is this normal, or something to be concerned about?

Bump. Am I just being impatient? (re healing, not replies here?).

I had that too. Feel better now (DD2 is 15 months and repeat CS too).
Thinking about it it was worse the 1st time with the EmCS.

Sounds normal to me. I've had 2 emcs, 2nd one 8mths ago and it's still very slightly puffy and tender but improving.

yes i had that with all my sections, most recent 16wks ago. my stretch marks in that area were all fluid filled and swollen, gone now tho.Hold in knickers helped.

I remember that feeling. Also a rather numb feeling where you couldn't feel it if you were touching your skin close to the scar.

Trust your instincts though and get it checked out if you're not sure.

Thanks everyone. Didn't remember this at all from first time.
