I've had 2 ELC'S and my bleeding lasted for about 4-6 weeks each if I recall,

I had an ELCS. Bleeding lastesd 4-5 weeks, longer than my natural birth. First period after was horrific as well, proper flooding but the next one was fine. My last one though started while I was half way through my pill pack and lasted alot longer than normal for me so I think it has changed them for a while.

I had a C- section on 26th April and am still bleeding but only lightly.

I can't remember what happened with my first c-section, but I had mine just over 3 weeks ago and it was heavy the first week, then suddenly stopped for a few days, then flooded, then stopped, then flooded etc.

I have just about had enough with the false finishes as I'm getting thrush from wearing pads 24/7 (usually a Mooncup girl) so every time I think it's stopped I stop wearing pads and, well, yeah - disaster. Yet when I wear pads, most of the time they're spotless!

I'm sure this didn't happen last time round, so I'd guess every pregnancy is different.
