Hi All,

I had my little girl 12 days ago.

The labial tears have now healed thank god.

But i keep feeling like i have been kicked in the crotch. Sometimes if i overdo things i feel like everything is falling out although i have felt and nothing is lol. Its not painful just a little sore.

Is this normal?

Also would increasing pelvic floor exercises help.

ps. In the middle of antibiotics for a water infection would this be a factor?

I had a failed forceps then DS eventually came out by c-section, but i still felt as though I had been kicked by a horse. I think it is fairly normal, but you should still have a word with your community midwife or HV just to make sure.

Congrats on DD!

Sounds normal to me - don't overdo things for a while! It took me a good few weeks to be comfortable walking even quite short distances without that feeling of everything falling out!

What bananapie said. Hang on in there, will get loads better. If it doesn't, get your GP to check everything's healing as it should be.
