already had my tens machine hired for natural birth but baby is breech so we're in for ELCS tomorrow (oh my god it's tomorrow bfp seems like yesterday). Has anyone used tens for pains after CS? Where do you put pads? Etc

Hi ScaryFairy

I've not heard of people using a tens machine for after a CS. I would just recommend keeping up all the medication and get up and about as soon as you can!! :)

Best of luck and enjoy it... you get to meet your LO very very soon!! :)

Just thinking it might be worth a try as it's here and going to waste. Maybe I'll give it a go.

I'd just use the drugs they give you. It's important to stay pain-free as you need to be moving around to reduce the risk of DVT.

Dont worry I was going to use it with the drugs! The more pain relief the merrier!!

Anything is worth a try, although you might find it annoying buzzing on your back!! :)

I remember with my first that as soon as she was born I got very annoyed with these pads buzzing on my back and asked DP to take it off - he got a big shock as didn't realise it was still on!! :)

Best of luck - hope all goes well.
