this morning I went to the loo and wiped myself. On the paper was a blob of thick whitish gunk? I had to wipe a few times befor it felt completely 'dry'
It was quite thick and wha followed was stingy. No blood though? What's the ifferenc between mucus plug and a show?

Sounds like it. It's not always bloody - mine wasn't.

sounds like the start of it. I was astonished at how much mucus there is in the plug! Generally though, its once it blood streaked that it means something is happening, the blood is from blood vessels getting broken as the cervix dilates

Hi Savannah,
I have just posted on the other thread about this, mine wasn't bloody and was just a blob of goo, like imnotaslimjim I was amazed at how big it was!! eurgh!

I didn't however go into labour until two weeks later when I was induced, sorry Smile

I had the same thing 10 days ago and nowt has happened since! I'm 36+6 today... I asked the midwife if it meant things were imminent and just she kind of shrugged!
