Just some advice really, Went to see the midwife today (28 weeks) I am measuring 30.5weeks and she found some glucose in my urine. She said it could be an indicator of gestational diabetes. This is my 4th DC and with number 3 I had a glucose test (starvation) but it was fine.
However when she tested my urine today I had not had breakfast just a cup of tea, (was 9.30am appt) had brekky when I got home. She is sending off blood tests and will contact me if needed.
Just wondered if anyone else had experience of this, and if anyone knows how likely you are to have 3 'normal' pregnancy and then develop gestational diabetes with the 4th. (I am 33 by the way so not in the over 35 high risk yet
